Dia de Los Muertos Styled Wedding Shoot
If you have never heard of it before, Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday when friends and family gather to honor loved ones who have passed away. We wanted to take the traditional and kick it up a notch! Thus welcome to everything inspired by Day of the Dead with our gorgeous Dia de Los Muertos Styled Wedding Shoot!
From the hand painted leather jacket to the glitter gold and red sugar skull custom invites we wanted to create something truly unique, a tad offbeat and truly wonderful to your eyes!
This beautiful shoot was inspired by traditional Mexican culture. Bright vibrant colors were literally tied into everything! Flowers of all kinds literally exploded with colors of bright pink, orange, yellows and greens. A traditional Mexican Serape was used to decorate and embellish the table that held the amazing wedding cake, that had the flowers on it over an industrial looking type of cake. With the outdoor woodsy setting the cake was a perfect choice of rustic meets colorful with hints of gold dripping down!
Taking all our fun bright elements, the wedding table was styled accordingly. With vibrant bouquets of flowers to fun cacti, candles, colored bottles, and bright place settings that were all atop a Mexican Serape. This table was festive and fun and totally unique! Guest also could take home a custom designed calaveras as a party favor, sign me up please!
This wedding rocks of style and fun and who wouldn’t want to be apart of it!

The bride is wearing a vintage lace dress paired with custom inked leather jacket that reads Amore on the back. I mean how killer is THAT! Totally a style I can get into glitz and glam and rocker chic all combined into 1. She tops off her look with a fabulous necklace and earrings and eye popping floral headband! wowzers!
