Painting Party Madness at The Yum Factory Inc
Before I tell you about the event, Painting Party Madness at The Yum Factory Inc, let me tell you a tad about me 🙂
I have always been a painter, as it frees me from the computer and gets me thinking creatively in a totally different way.
There is something about sitting down, rocking some music and just letting the creativity take control and being free that just grabs me when painting.
I love how colors run together, I love trying new textures and brushes to achieve a look.
More often than not I do something that I don’t like but continue to paint and then an hour later realize it’s the best ever and I love it!
Painting just lets you be carefree for a while, it’s a form of therapy I believe. You can sit down without thinking and just create if you want to.
Relish in the music if you have it on, or chat with your girlfriends if you are at a painting party!
After meeting Melanie from The Yum Factory on July 21st this year (that date is my daughter and I’s birthday),
we share the same day and went there to get some special cupcakes and treats!)
I knew I was not only hooked on their shop and all the neat Keto and non keto candies and food they offer,
but I instantly hit it off with Melanie the owner!
After about an hour of us chatting over lunch that day and her having us try different samples in the store,
Melanie was intrigued not only about my wedding invites but more so about my painting!
She asked if I would do a wine and painting night and she would do a truffle tasting at the same time and I said ABSOULTELY!
I am very excited about this event, and a tad nervous b/c I only recently moved back to my hometown of Quincy, Illinois.
I can’t wait to talk to everyone and share my love of painting and creating with them!
I love when ladies all get together and support each other and its a fun night out! Come join us for some fun!
